Since the event's of september 11th, and the war that soon follow. Won't racially profiling middle eastern men make them more likely to pursue the holy war that has been declared against the America rather than treating them the same as any other person that is a citizen or resident of our country?

Why is it urgent for America now:
This is a very pressing matter that should have been addressed more recently but, middle eastern men under the age of 40 are much more likely to be put under the microscope of the federal government than any other person in the United States. Why? Well 9 people on planes killed a lot of our people and it's guilt by association. So, we racially profile all middle eastern men to such an extent that it's actually baffling there hasn't been a political movement yet. If we went the tensions of the people that worship Islam, we need to stop racially profiling these middle eastern men to the extent that we have currently taken against them.

Why is it urgent for America now:
in the past people have been raised on morals. todays society has a warped view on different topics. i believe our youth has been most affected growing up in this new generation of explicit media.

Many wonder why we should give aid to foreign countries. Ignoring all moral considerations, it is easy to conclude that it is actually in US self-interest. Poverty and weak governance often creates havens and starting grounds for terrorists, as we have seen in Afghanistan. The U.S. often emphasizes military spending, yet would this be necessary if the underlying causes were addressed in the first place?

Why is it urgent for America now:
Not only has the U.S. committed to the Millennium Development Goals and is still not contributing what it has promised (only .7% of its GDP is required), but instead, military spending has increased exponentially. This does not address the root cause of conflict with other nations. In addition to this, the environment is often damaged by developing countries reliance on poor technology that brings pollution. This in turn, affects the U.S. and the entire world. On another note, besides the self-interests involved in helping others, there is the influence of morals and human rights. According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, every person has the right to life, which requires the right to fresh water and food. These basic necessities are not being met, and as human rights was the foundation of this country, it appears to be not only a calling, but a responsibility to help others have their basic rights fulfilled.

Global warming is an important topic because it is something that man has done to the environment, and also something man can solve.

Why is it urgent for America now:
Global warming affects everyone, not just a certain demographic or geological location. EVERYONE feels the effects. We should all be doing our best effort to reverse the effects of global climate change.

Our World is now globalize and putting our heads in the sand and hoping for the best is illogical. We need to cooperate with countries around the world to resolve issues we face together as a planet.

Why is it urgent for America now:
It is vital for our lively hood to work together because our World is now globalized and everything we do impact others on a micro or macro level. For instance we need to work together to reduce global warming and find ways to help out planet recover from the effects of it now. One country alone can have devastating effects on the world. We as humans need to come together and find better methods of fueling our economy and saving our ecology.
